MAXCAP GROUP ANNOUNCED THE APPOINTMENT OF NEW INVESTMENT DIRECTOR.

MaxCap recruits Drew Bowie to lead its Sydney office.

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA, Dec 11, – MaxCap Group announced the appointment of Drew Bowie as New South Wales Investment Director.

As the State’s Investment Director, Bowie will be primarily responsible for portfolio management and the continued growth of the firm’s high quality pipeline of transactions in NSW. He will also sit on MaxCap’s Audit, Risk and Compliance (ARC) Committee and will report directly to Chief Investment Officer, Brae Sokolski.

Bowie, 45, is a 22-year industry veteran with extensive experience in primary and secondary real estate capital markets. Over the last two decades he has held senior roles including two years as Divisional Director – Head of Real Estate Capital with Pepper Group, six years as Director, Real Estate Finance & Loan Markets Origination at Royal Bank of Scotland, seven years as Director at First Australian Capital Pty Ltd focussed on debt and equity structures for property investments and five years as Senior Manager at Macquarie Bank, managing commercial real estate equity and debt investments.

With this appointment, Bowie will join MaxCap’s executive management team, which continues to attract top senior talent.
