In late 2021, MaxCap Direct Investment identified a market opportunity to participate in high-quality real estate projects in partnership with leading developers via capital structures providing greater downside protection for investors. To capitalise upon this opportunity, MaxCap Direct Investment established its third partnership fund, the MaxCap Diversified Opportunity Fund (MDOF).

MaxCap Direct Investment’s platform was ideally suited to cater to this market opportunity with a specialised team of experts originating and managing real estate investments.

To date, MaxCap Direct Investment has acquired a diversified, robust portfolio of highly attractive investments, providing investors immediate diversification to sectors, geographies, partners and investment structures.

Importantly, MDOF’s investments have predominately been structured as hybrid investments, providing significant downside protection for investors whilst retaining exposure to uncapped return upside.
