MaxCap is proud to welcome Royston Toh as Senior Executive – Risk. Royston is responsible for managing the construction risk for the firm’s construction-lending investment transactions. His addition to the team further strengthens the Group’s operational and risk functions, and represents a key appointment within the Risk Control, Compliance and the Internal Operation units.

Royston is a certified quantity surveyor, a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and an affiliate member with the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. Royston is the outgoing Associate Director of Construction Risk Management at National Australia Bank (NAB), having spent the past five years focussed on managing construction risk in the Melbourne Business and Corporate Bank. Prior to NAB, Royston worked at Kane Constructions and Harris HMC Construction as a Contracts Administrator and before that as a Quantity Surveyor in Singapore with KPK Quantity Surveyors.

Royston’s specialist skill set will complement the MaxCap’s Risk department.

“I am thrilled to join MaxCap as it continues its dynamic growth into an influential and well-regarded real estate debt and investment firm. I look forward to sharing with the MaxCap team my construction risk experience gained over the years from working with leading Australian and Asian firms in construction, consultancy and financial firms as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor
