Simon Hulett

Simon leads the Direct Investment team nationally and is responsible for the development and execution of MaxCap’s equity investment strategy. Simon has 18 years of real estate experience across investment management, funds, acquisitions and development covering all major asset classes and highly complex projects. Prior to joining MaxCap, Simon spent eight years as Development Director at Charter Hall based in Sydney and Perth, where he led origination, strategy and management of large marquee commercial development projects and value add opportunities. Simon also worked closely with large wholesale and retail capital funds in developing and implementing fund investment strategies. Prior to this, he worked for private developer Saracen Properties in Perth and Melbourne managing the full life-cycle of various development projects. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Property from RMIT.
