Simon Hulett

Simon Hulett is the Head of Equity Investment at MaxCap Group, bringing over 20 years of experience in real estate across investment management, funds, acquisitions, and development covering all major asset classes and highly complex projects. Based in Melbourne and leading the Equity Investment team, he specialises in equity investment strategy development and execution and plays a vital role in leading the firm's equity investment initiatives.

Before joining MaxCap Group, Simon spent eight years as Development Director at Charter Hall in Sydney and Perth, where he led origination, strategy, and management of large marquee commercial development projects and value-add opportunities. He also collaborated closely with large wholesale and retail capital funds in developing and implementing fund investment strategies. Prior to this, he worked for Saracen Properties in Perth and Melbourne, managing the full life cycle of various development projects.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Property from RMIT.
