Hugh Thomson

Hugh is an Associate Director in MaxCap’s Capital team in Sydney, focusing on capital raising and relationship management of Asian-based private and institutional capital. Hugh has most recently spent over 6 years in Hong Kong and Singapore with CBRE focused on both direct and indirect cross border capital flows into the Australian commercial real estate market. Prior to his time in Asia, he worked for a Brisbane-based family office, focused on opportunistic structured real estate transactions. Hugh has a Master of Business (Applied Finance) and a Bachelor of Design (Architecture) from the Queensland University of Technology.
