Bill McWilliams

Bill McWilliams is the Chief Investment Officer at MaxCap Group, bringing over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Based in Melbourne and part of the Investment team, he specialises in investment strategy development, relationship management, and oversight of deal origination, structuring, and negotiation, playing a vital role in shaping the firm's investment direction. Before joining MaxCap Group, Bill held senior positions at National Australia Bank (NAB), including roles within the Institutional and Business Bank, and served as a Credit Executive. He also gained experience as a Compliance Manager at Deutsche Bank in London. With a strong background in business development, team leadership, and credit management, he has significantly contributed to the growth and success of the organisations he has been part of. Bill holds a Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, Certificate IV in Finance, Certificate III in Banking, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is also a Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australia (FINSIA).
