Ben Wollan

Ben Wollan is Head of Investment Management at MaxCap Group, bringing extensive experience in transaction origination, investment product development, and strategic initiatives. Based in Melbourne and leading the Investment Management team, he specialises in transaction origination and management, leading the development of new investment products and strategies, and plays a vital role in engaging with both borrower and investor clients across various funds, separate accounts, and stand-alone deals. Before joining MaxCap Group, Ben worked as a solicitor specialising in commercial law and litigation, where he gained expertise in legal aspects pertinent to commercial transactions. With a strong background in commercial law, litigation, and investment strategies, he has contributed significantly to the development and management of innovative investment products and strategies.​ Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce/Laws from the University of Melbourne and is admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria. He is also a CFA charter holder, demonstrating his commitment to the highest standards of investment management.
