Collins House Official Launch

The MaxCap team attended the official launch of the marquee Melbourne project, Collins House, on Thursday 28th May. Comprising of 270 apartments, Collins House is set to create a new benchmark in construction and design and will have the architectural distinction of being one of the city’s most slender buildings; 57 levels on a site just 12 metres wide.

A joint venture between Golden Age Development Group and the Asian Pacific Group behind the Art Series Hotels, Collins House will restore the heritage features of the 107-year old Huddart Parker shipping company building, more recently known as the ‘Makers Mark’ building.

“When you go to cities like New York and Hong Kong, this kind of building is very normal,” Golden Age managing director Jeff Xu says, adding “we have basically 360-degree views that can never be built out over the National Bank that allows you to see the whole Paris end of Collins Street and Carlton, and North Melbourne as well”.

The project is already over 50% presold.
