Accountant

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role will focus on SPV tax and accounting oversight as well contribute across investment and corporate accounting requirements.

• Ownership of corporate entities including preparation of daily bank reconciliation, maintenance of general ledger entries, posting of monthly depreciation charges and managing receivables.
• Ownership of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), including recording monthly transactions and reconciliation of entities and maintaining registers.
• Ownership of SAP Concur and expense management including the maintenance of daily assignment of invoices.
• Preparation of quarterly BAS returns and management of lodgment process.
• Preparation of rebate calculations as directed, including management and ownership of rebate process and ongoing reporting as required.
• Assist with annual audit program.
• Assist with preparation of accounting technical papers, including income recognition policies and maintenance of expected credit loss papers.

• Relevant Degree in Finance, Commerce or Business (finance related discipline)
• CA or CPA qualified or currently studying towards or experience of a few years in a similar role
• Strong Excel Skills
• Experience with NetSuite and SAP Concur (or equivalent)
