Romy Grace is the Director, Institutional Capital and Head of Responsible Investment at MaxCap, bringing 15 years of experience in corporate law, funds management, and responsible investment. Based in Melbourne and part of the Capital team, she specialises in developing and executing product and client strategies, playing a vital role in the firm’s business development and responsible investment initiatives.
Before joining MaxCap, Romy was Legal Counsel at Impact Investment Group (IIG) an impact investment fund manager. She later worked in IIG’s Investor Relations and Capital team. Prior to IIG, Romy was a solicitor at corporate law firm Arnold Bloch Leibler. She also holds leadership and governance positions in the community sector and has experience in responsible investment methodology and reporting.
Romy holds a Bachelor of Arts/Laws (Hons) from Monash University and is a Graduate of the Governance Institute of Australia. Romy sat on the Property Council of Australia’s National Division Council and was former Chair of the Debt Markets Committee. She currently sits on the CEFC-lead Women in Sustainable Finance Committee.
