Jose Cheng is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of CPAX Capital. He is responsible for the investment management activities of the group. Jose’s professional career spans over 25 years in principal investment and consumer business management, primarily based in Asia.
Prior to founding CPAX Capital, Jose was CEO of Fung Capital Asia Investments Limited, CEO of Fung Fashion Limited, Executive Director at EM Warburg Pincus & Co, Asia Limited, Vice
President of Investor AB Asia Limited, and Assistant Director at Prudential Asset Management Asia Hong Kong Limited where he started his career in 1993.
Jose has served on many listed and private companies’ boards of directors throughout his career. In addition to serving on CPAX Capital Group’s directorships, he is currently also a member of the investment committees of MaxCap Group and Select Investment Group, and he is also a Senior Advisor to LionRock Capital Group.
Jose is a graduate from Queen’s University in Canada with a BA degree in Philosophy.
