Andrew Cossen is Head of Legal at MaxCap, bringing over 25 years of experience in various legal roles. Based in Melbourne and part of the Risk and Credit team, he advises on all aspects of the business including in relation to MaxCap’s suite of investment products and institutional clients. As company secretary for the MaxCap companies, Andrew plays a vital role in the corporate governance and regulatory compliance of the group.
Before joining MaxCap, Andrew was General Counsel and Company Secretary for Liberty Oil for over eighteen years. Prior to this, he was employed in private practice with Herbert Smith Freehills and then Corrs Chambers Westgarth.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University.
