This position is primarily responsible for the operational and administrative functions relating to the investment funds managed by MaxCap Group.

Roles & Responsibilities

Investor onboarding:

•Liaise with Distribution Team, Investor Relations Manager and FundAdministrator as necessary to ensure application forms are issued and returned on a timely basis

•Assist fund administrator in preparation of all necessary letters and registers relevant to investors’ investments

•Ensure investor information is updated in the system including adequate and proper record keeping

•Assist with review of tax distribution statements•Prepare audit confirmations

Capital Raising:

•Liaise with Distribution Team and Investor Relations Manager to obtain updates of the capital-raising process

•Provide timely updates on the call funding position to the relevant stakeholders.

Loan and Investment Management:
•Support Operations officer in loan drawdowns while liaising with the relevant teams for funding and disbursements needs

•Support Operations officer in loan transactions in accordance with facility terms and conditions

•Support Operations officer in monitoring and management of loan repayment process and coordinating subsequent follow-on disbursements

•Collection of interest and fees due for payment

•Liaise with borrowers, solicitors and investors to achieve settlements and repayments in the required timeframes

•Update the ARMnet system as required to reflect all transactions processed and any other relevant data

•Support in review and preparation of distributions to investors

•Perform reconciliations between loans and investments records as well as reconciliation with third party reports

•Assist in preparation of month-end borrower and investor statements from ARMnet system and ensuring issuance within stipulated turnaround times

•Adherence to all legislative requirements, policies and procedures

Institution/ Custodian Management:
•Monitor and process institutional investors’ funding calls, payments and other cash movements

•Process investment portfolio transactions•Perform daily portfolio reconciliations for review

•Reconcile institutional client’s custodian reports and follow-up to resolve discrepancies

Fund Analysis and Reporting:
•Assist in review of NAV calculations, reconciliations of redemptions, applications, and capital transactions

•Assist in performance fees and portfolio return calculations

•Assist in the financial statement preparation, preparing and reviewing reports for investors, and liaising with auditors

•Prepare and provide information as required or requested by our institutional clients and their custodian

•Assist with preparation of monthly reporting package to institutional clients

•Compliance with GS007 requirements

•Update Fund models to ensure the levels of cash retained in fund portfolios is minimised based upon each fund’s financial obligations

•Provide qualitative and quantitative treasury reporting to the weekly WIP meeting

•Ensure that all portfolios are compliant with their respective investment guidelines at the time a deal is allocated to a portfolio and on an ongoingbasis

•Provide accurate, relevant and timely qualitative and quantitative compliance reporting to Portfolio Manager

•Assist in managing new product implementation

Education, Experience, Skills & Knowledge:
•Accounting degree, with 2 years’ experience within Investment Accounting from a funds management or a custody background Funds Management, Financial Services or Commercial Property Lending experience (Banks, Financial Institutions, Private Investment Firms / Groups or related professional) experience obtained within a similar role

•Strong experience in reviewing unit pricing, reconciliations and distributions

•Ability to create consolidated financial statements

•Knowledge of ARMnet system preferred but not essential

•Advanced Excel skills
