This position is primarily responsible for developing new to firm relationships with private investors to increase available funds under management.

Roles & Responsibilities

Business Development:

• Develop bespoke sales and marketing strategies for target new investor groups within region
• Research, identify and engage with target clients
• Embed ongoing CRM strategies for identified client relationships
• Present relevant and compelling investment information to internal stakeholders and clients
• Credibly represent the views and investment objectives of project or funds
• Create and nurture new referral channels
• Ensure capital raised aligns to deal flow and fund requirements

Relationship Management:

• Nurture relationships with existing clients and known private investors
• Maintain regular and systematic contact outside of investment opportunity
• Present investment opportunities, influence decisions and close deals
• Develop strong relationships reflecting a trusted and influential investment manager

Education, Experience, Skills & Knowledge:

• Demonstrable success in a sales role
• Strong understanding of the private investment and high net wealth community
• Established relationships across a private investor network
• Strong experience developing and managing customer relationships
• Up-to-date knowledge of Australian financial markets
• A relevant Degree in Law, Commerce or Business (finance related discipline)
• Significant Financial Services or Commercial Property experience (Banks, Financial Institutions, Private Investment Firms / Groups or related professional)
