Associate Director – Direct Investment

The Associate Director is responsible for originating and executing and overseeing direct investment transactions in NSW and QLD including the ongoing management through to exit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to strategic growth and direction of Direct Investment business.
• Critically prepare, assess and design optimal capital structuring outcomes for a range of investment types.
• Lead detailed due diligence activities and complete in-depth risk analysis of projects.
• Lead the development of cash flow/feasibility modelling and analysis to assess against various metrics.
• Prepare joint venture term sheets, heads of agreement and funding proposals for potential clients.
• Prepare project briefs and scope for the engagement and instruction of project consultants, advisors, agents and lawyers.
• Manage the preparation of information memorandums and pitchbooks for presentation to financiers and investors.
• Proactively manage relationships with joint venture partners and asset owners.
• Manage the negotiation of legal documentation for transactions.
• Manage asset management and reporting requirements.

About You:

• A relevant Degree in Commerce, Business, Law, Property or related discipline.
• Commercial property or property finance experience gained within real estate investment, investment banking, fund or development management, or private equity.
• Experience across multiple real estate asset classes including investment and development.
• Detailed understanding of financial modelling and feasibility analysis.
• Ability to lead due diligence processes and negotiate term sheets.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrable people leadership and management skills
• Strategic thinker able to develop creative solutions
