Associate Director – Corporate Development

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you’ll develop and execute organic and inorganic growth strategies to maximise enterprise value to support achievement of MaxCap’s vision.

• Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to stay ahead of industry changes and identify growth opportunities.
• In conjunction with Executive, support the development and execution of the company’s overall strategic plan.
• Identify new growth opportunities and create strategies to pursue them including management of detailed financial modelling, due diligence and identification of key risks.
• Prepare high quality business cases, board or investment papers.
• Develop and deliver presentations to the Board, Executive team and business.
• Develop relationships across industry and engage with key market participants to identify and gain early access inorganic growth opportunities.
• Develop and leverage relationships and knowledge across the Apollo Global ecosystem.
• Work in conjunction with the PMO to complete detailed project planning for all strategic projects.
• Lead project workstreams, chair working groups and effectively manage internal and external stakeholder groups.

• Extensive experience in a similar role withing Investment Banking, Advisory, Funds or Asset.
• Detailed working knowledge of commercial real estate.
• Experience developing and executing project plans including complex stakeholder management.
• A relevant Degree in Finance, Commerce or Business-related discipline.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Exceptional financial and commercial acumen.
• Ability to present critical arguments and influence decisions.
• Strong relationship development and management.
