Quintessential Equity

In 2023, MaxCap Group provided a first-mortgage sustainable upgrade facility to Quintessential Equity for the acquisition, refurbishment and repositioning of a 26-storey office tower at 30 Pirie Street, Adelaide.

Quintessential Equity is delivering a significant regeneration program for the property to attract and retain tenants, including the revitalisation of the ground floor lobby, creation of a high-end conference facility, new end of trip facilities, activation of the rear laneway, and upgrades to the on-floor lobbies, bathrooms and lift cars.

The transformation is being delivered with a commitment to elevating the property’s National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) rating by at least 30% to achieve a minimum 5-star NABERS Base Building Energy Rating. The program of building works includes upgrading building management systems and controls, installation of solar panels and new energy monitoring systems, upgrades of lighting to LED and a comprehensive tuning program.

Highlights

  3. Refurbishment and upgrade works have already attracted multiple national and internation tenants to the property, with major tenant BDO Australia securing naming rights for the building.
